I grew up in a home and a close-knit church family that valued relationship, encouraged unique gifts and style, celebrated personal victories and loved each other through our “stuff.” I was a public school teacher, counselor and administrator and loved the students and the experience. As a military wife, I had the privilege of working in diverse settings, spanning ethnicity and social strata. I worked in the schools located in inner-city communities, blue-collar neighborhoods, affluent communities, small towns and large cities. Today, I enjoy visiting my children and grandchildren in CO and OH and I find great joy in meeting soon-to-be friends.
My connection to Restoring the Foundations (RTF) was a divine encounter. After having ministered healing and deliverance successfully for seven years, I moved with my family to Boulder, CO. While on a spiritual retreat with friends, RTF was introduced during one of the sessions. During that session, the Lord spoke to my heart and said, “A new style of ministry for the new location.” In 2009, I became a Restoring the Foundations minister. I am establishing “Camp Barkley,” a Restoring the Foundations healing and training center in Buffalo Gap, TX.
I minister with and build up ministry teams, doing introductory and training seminars as well as personal ministry. Some of the places I’ve ministered are: Kuwait, Mongolia, Ireland, Jamaica, Guatemala, Canada and multiple places in the United States. Because of the multiple talents in the teams with which I work, we minister to diversified issues and people groups.
