I grew up in the mountains of North Carolina in a Christian home. I remember having a love for God at a young age and a desire to do what’s right. Yet, I always knew there was more of God available. As an adult, singing in an adult choir, I heard a song inspired by the Holy Spirit that prompted me to seek and find greater intimacy with God. This triggered the many truths I had learned as a child to finally go from my head to my heart. In 1984, my husband, Richard, and I were married and have one adult son. Richard is an evangelist and I am a worship leader. Together we travel and minister, sharing how to experience deeper love and power encounters with God. I love living in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and enjoy being with family. A favorite hobby is watching and supporting North Carolina football teams.
In 2004, God fulfilled a desire of my heart – to be able to pray with people and see them walk more fully in their destinies and know who they are in Christ. This came about when Chester and Betsy Kylstra, Restoring the Foundations Founders, visited my church and I received a “Biblical Healing and Deliverance” book. Reading it and going through ministry and training let me know that I too had a lot of issues to address to discover my own true identity. In 2009, I became a Restoring the Foundations minister and later a Trainer.
I minister to women with women and also team-teach introductory and training seminars. I am experienced in all facets of ministry and have witnessed many gain freedom in overcoming life’s issues. My husband, Richard, and I also minister Restoring the Foundations Issue Focused Ministry to individuals. It gives me great joy to see others discover and walk in their true identity in Christ. “Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” John 8:36 (NKJV)
